Who We Are

Pioneering Your Path to Exceptional Properties

Our Story

Look, we're not gonna feed you some rehearsed corporate origin story. Quantyrax Frontier started because a few of us got tired of seeing incredible properties being marketed like they were just another condo unit downtown. We're talking about estates where you wake up to eagles fishing in your backyard, or rural properties that've been in families for generations.

Back in the day, I was working with a client who wanted waterfront up near Squamish, and the existing agencies just didn't get it. They were trying to sell the lifestyle like a brochure, not actually understanding what it means to live out there - the septic systems, the well water quality, dealing with wildlife, knowing which marina's got the best moorage rates. That's when it clicked for us.

We've built relationships with everyone from land developers to dock builders, from environmental consultants to the guy who knows every salmon run in the Strait. That network? Can't fake it, and it makes all the difference when you're dropping serious money on a property that's more than just four walls.

Our Journey

2013 - The Beginning

Started with just three of us and a beat-up truck, mostly handling rural properties that bigger agencies wouldn't touch. Our first office was basically a converted garage in Langley, but hey, rent was cheap and we were close to the properties we loved.

2016 - Waterfront Expansion

Made our name with that massive waterfront development near Gibsons. Word got around that we actually knew the difference between high-bank and low-bank properties, and suddenly everyone with oceanfront was calling us up.

2019 - Vancouver Office

Opened our Granville Street office because clients kept asking to meet somewhere that wasn't a Tim Hortons parking lot. Still kept that down-to-earth vibe though - you'll see muddy boots by our door half the time.

2022 - Portfolio Services Launch

Clients who bought one property kept coming back for more, so we built out our portfolio management services. Turns out managing multiple high-end properties across BC needs someone who actually understands the unique challenges of each region.

2025 - Today & Beyond

We're handling some of the most impressive properties in BC, but we haven't forgotten where we started. Still personally walk every property, still answer our phones, and still get excited about finding that perfect place for our clients.

Meet The Team

Marcus Trent

Founder & Senior Broker

Started this whole thing after getting frustrated with cookie-cutter real estate approaches. Grew up in the Okanagan, so I get rural life. Been boating since I was seven, which helps when you're evaluating waterfront access. Still personally handle our biggest portfolio clients.

Sophia Chen

Waterfront Specialist

Former marine biologist who switched careers after helping a friend buy oceanfront property. Knows tide charts better than most captains, and can spot erosion issues from a mile away. If you're buying water access, you want her doing the assessment.

Raj Patel

Rural Estate Advisor

Grew up on a farm near Chilliwack, worked in land development for years before joining us. He's your guy for anything involving acreage, agricultural land reserves, or properties with their own wells and septic. Plus he knows every contractor worth hiring in the Fraser Valley.

Emma Larson

Investment Analyst

Numbers person with an MBA and a knack for seeing potential where others don't. Handles all our investment property analysis and portfolio management. She'll tell you straight up if a property's gonna appreciate or if you're better off looking elsewhere.

What Drives Us

We're not gonna pretend a property's perfect when it's not. If there's an issue with the septic, a sketchy easement, or the dock needs replacing in two years, we'll tell you upfront. Lost a few deals that way, sure, but we sleep better at night and our clients trust us with their next purchase.

There's a massive difference between knowing an area from a map and actually knowing it. We spend time in these communities - we know which local contractors show up on time, which marinas have waiting lists, where the good fishing spots are, and yeah, which neighbors might be a pain. That stuff matters when you're investing millions.

We're not interested in one-and-done transactions. Most of our business comes from repeat clients and referrals, which tells you something. We're here when you need advice on a property tax assessment, recommendations for a caretaker, or just wanna chat about whether now's the time to sell. That's what real service looks like.

Anyone can get a real estate license. What sets us apart is the extra knowledge - understanding water rights, navigating ALR regulations, knowing construction quality when we see it, reading geological surveys, assessing dock permits. We've invested thousands of hours learning this stuff because it protects our clients' investments.

BC's landscapes are something special, and we take that seriously. Whether it's waterfront, forest, or farmland, we encourage sustainable practices and responsible development. It's not just feel-good talk - properties that work with the land instead of against it hold their value better and cost less to maintain.
